The Shake Wells are a grass-fed Austin-born Texan-Colombian rock remix. Our tunes are catchy and we want folks to dance. It’s in our South American roots to create music that moves and shakes you. Cesar Augusto Osorio writes and arranges the music, always welcoming the infectious rhythms and melodies that the other members bring. Fabian Rincon on drums pumps a rock-n-roll edginess with his background in jazz percussion from the conservatory in Bogota. Andres Acevedo brings the bass and vocal harmonies to help create a full dynamic sound. This chameleon bassist can be found all around town featured in various groups such as Latasha Lee & The Black Ties, La Frenetika, and Kalua. In fact, all the members of The Shake Wells are active throughout the Austin scene. As we mesh our sounds together, we find that the more we try to nail down one particular style or genre, the further we drift away from what we were trying to emulate. We end up with a sound that is different and our own. This is why we came together and what we want to share with everyone.
