Cantautoras is a collective musical project and an original idea by Caroline Cruz materialized in 2005. After a successful season of live shows, the current line up gathered and took over in mid 2013, which includes musicians/songwriters Caroline Cruz, Magali Luque, and Claudia Maúrtua, who is also vocalist in rock band Ni Voz Ni Voto.
Cantautoras gives us a unique show where stories are turned into songs about life, society, love and out-of-love situations where each of these talented women uses their particular style to drive us through an imaginary journey into each of their worlds.
Cantautoras will surprise us not only with their voice assemble but with their many instruments including guitar, cello, flute, percusion, and Peruvian typical instruments, coloring each of the songs with different sounds.
