No robaven els vinils als seus pares, ni tampoc havien nascut durant el boom de la psicodèlia setentera, però Opatov superen clixés i fronteres amb el seu primer disc, "Bacán" (Famèlic Records, 2015). Un nom que no és casual -significa bo en xilè- i que descriu a la perfecció aquesta barreja de garatge psicotròpic intens, fresc i original. Aquí no hi ha lloc per esteles de fum, estereotips i esnobisme, només un tir honest directe a l'ànima. Preparats per volar?
They didn't meet at art school, nor stole their parents' vinyls or were even born during the 70's psychedelic boom, but Opatov are past cliches and frontiers with their debut album, "Bacán". A name that is not random -it means excellent in Chilean- and describes perfectly their mixture between garage rock and psychedelia with an intense touch, fresh and original. There's no room for stereotypes or snobs...this is just a straight shot into your soul. Are you ready to fly?
