A lack of powder this season has got professional snowboarders Alex Walch and Tom Tramnitz worrying about climate change. So much so they turn to the realm of Native American spiritualism. Back in the day there may have been such a thing as a rain dance, but a pow dance? Anything is worth trying once.
Without any decent storms in the forecast Alex and Tom hit the park at Laax - no, not the airport, the ski resort in Switzerland. With a perfectly-groomed half pipe, multiple rail lines, and some pretty sizeable kickers, they are staying busy in preparation for Japan. Stay tuned for that sweet Hokkaido powder next week.
