Steve was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and resides in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He started performing and captivating audiences at the age of 17, and has played coffee houses, clubs, festivals and concert venues all over the state of Florida. He’s also played at venues in New York City, Nashville, and did a month-long tour of Brazil in 1992 with his band “3 Angry Inches.”
In December of 2010 he played Chrystal Hartigan’s Songwriters Showcase with some of the most promising songwriters in the Music Business. Steve also lends a hand in South Florida with Medical Marijuana and Everglades Awareness Benefits at Tobacco Road, with “Surfers For Autism,” and has served as the Entertainment Chairman for the American Cancer Society's “Relay For Life” Lighthouse Point/Deerfield Beach Chapter three years in a row.
This 30-year veteran is all about the music and worked with Electra Groove Recording Artist Shawn “Guitar” Starski from “Jason Ricci and The New Blood” on his critically acclaimed debut solo CD, “The Gallery."
There is no mistaking this seasoned professional musician as he “has created an easily recognizable stage persona in his signature floppy jesters cap playing gigs that combine a lighthearted pose with heartfelt prose," says Beth Feinstein-Bartl for the Ft. Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel.
