Singer-songwriter Melanie Dyer captured Australia with a standing ovation from all four super star judges; Keith Urban, Delta Goodrem, Seal and Joel Madden in the very first episode of the first year of chart-topping reality show ‘The Voice’. In 2012 Melanie was named ‘The One That Got Away’ when she performed her original song at the Blind Auditions. At the conclusion of that series of The Voice, Melanie was signed to Universal Music’s Mercury Records label.
With her debut EP ‘Lifetime’ released April 10, Melanie calls the EP fresh, fun and ‘feel-good’.
A successful debut release has generated a buzz in the music market for Mel. ‘Lifetime’ held a spot in the CMC Top 50 charts for over 7 weeks as well as the number one position on Australian Live 365. The release led to a feature interview with Richard Wilkins on Nine’s ‘The Today Show’ as well as an invitation to return as a guest performer on ‘The Voice’ 2015 series. Off the back of her EP release Mel has been announced on the line up for the 2016 CMC Rocks concert – featuring amongst some of the biggest international names in Country Music.
