Earlier this month a two-week storm dumped seven feet of fresh snow on Aspen. Johnny Rossman just happened to be there with his pole-mounted cam to capture all the action. In between powder runs and backflips he posted up at the bar and enjoyed some local culture.

But don't let the laid-back tone fool you. The avalanche danger has been creeping up this year and Rossman dedicates this video to Tony Pardee Siebert, a skier lost just a few weeks ago in an avalanche in Vail. As Johnny takes on the backcountry of Aspen and his home in Breckenridge, you had better believe Tony's memory is not far from his mind.
