Born in 20th May, 1975 in Istanbul, Burak Buyruk set up his first band named 'Pozitif' in 1993. Played in several venues and took place in a music festival, which protested nuclear santrals, conducted by Taner Öngür.
He began to study Sociology at Mimar Sinan University in 1994. At the same time, worked as a sales consultant in a music store. Went to London in 2000 and lived there for two years. Throughout his stay, played popular pop and rock songs with the accompany of Irish and Indian musicians in a venue. Returning from London, gave technical support to Americans for their laptops in Siemens. Same year, made acoustic music in a hotel.
Showing great performance in a music contest held by Jack Daniel's, he was invited for a television talk on Dream Tv. In 2007, he took stage in the popular venues in Istanbul performing his own songs, and in 2009 with his side project Filmstar.
He is a singer and songwriter to MSG where he has more than 100 songs registered.
He released his first single Koşan Adam via internet in 2010. Took stage in the popular venues in Istanbul with his side project Filmstar in 2011. The same year, worked for Contemporary Istanbul as a manager. Awarded third grade, at the music contest Roxy Music Days in 2011.
Burak started recording the songs of his album in 2013 and completed them in 2014. His debut album 'Yalnızlık Abidesi' was released in 2015 on all digital platforms. The first video from the album is planned to be released in December.
