Swedish acoustic solo fingerstyle guitarist and composer.
Born Salomon Jakobsson, 30 March 1995, Gothenburg, Sweden. Salomon started playing music at a young age but first picked up the guitar at the age of 13. He soon started playing classical and electric guitar. After a year of studies he decided to teach himself how to play a modern solo approach to guitar called fingerstyle guitar and at the age of 16 he wanted to develop his skills further. He went to a music high school in Sweden and began finding his own style. Today he plays and writes music like his big guitar heroes Ewan Dobson, Andrés Segovia, Tommy Emmanuel and Lenny Breau. Salomon is currently putting all his energy into becoming as good a performer and composer as he can get.
Salomon’s vision is to share the wonderful music and experience of the solo guitar with other people and change peoples perception about how the guitar can be played and what music it can produce.
