WHO WE ARE
Ten years in the making, this Folk Rock duo came to its fruition in 2015. Singer and lyricist, Melanie Bailey, and Guitarist and Songwriter, Chris Floyd, were each honing their crafts individually until a fateful meeting in the fall of 2014. It wasn't long after that they decided to collaborate. The result was more than either could have imagined. Words and melodies that had been stagnant for a decade had found movement and meaning.
WHAT WE DO
Chris and Melanie are currently writing and preparing to record a follow-up album to their current EP, Life and Other Fleeting Things, released earlier in 2016. They plan to get back into the Shangri-La Studio in Lexington, KY with Producer Tom Hantow by Fall. In the meantime, they are making the rounds performing in local venues in and around their home base of Lexington, KY.
