Soundproof is a collective of seasoned musicians that love to play music in an impromptu fashion, pulling together a style of organic music yet still highlighting jazz and blues. The group changes forms according to the gig they are catering to. Detroit-born and raised in North Carolina, Jason Hanley is the primary songwriter for the band of gypsies. He also acts as a solo artist who books under the name of Soundproof.

Steve Jernigan - Stand-up bass
Luis Banilla - Saxophone
Luis has played with a diverse group of musicians ranging from Bo Diddley to Barry White and Phantom Crew. Steve is comfortable in genres ranging from orchestra to bluegrass, and has played with the Palm Beach Atlantic University Symphony, the late Mitch Miller, The Blue Ridge County Ramblers and Mr. Barracuda of MTV fame.
