Anna Mae is a 26 year old singer/songwriter from Switzerland. She's passionate about performing her songs on stage for the people, either as a solo artist by accompanying her vocals with an acoustic guitar or together with other musicians. She says:
"Music is the way of expressing myself, it’s a natural process that’s essential to me"
Music has always been an important part of her and the influences are artists like Tina Turner, Johnny Cash or Elvis Presley, just to name a few. These influences, combined with her distinctive voice and the versatility of her songwriting, can be heard on Anna Mae's first EP "Let It Roll" that will be released this autumn (2016).
The unsigned artist is currently working on building up her musical career on solid ground to be able to exist internationally as a singer & songwriter. Her fire for the creation of music is burning more than ever, and by putting her energy together she believes indeed in achieving her objective. Anna Mae has spent a year in London and attended BiMM University (former Tech Music School) in order to focus on her vocal skills, learn about the music industry and collect important tools to work on her development as an artist. This experience together with all the ones she's made in the past by performing on stage regularly, gives Anna Mae the conviction to go her way.
