From baby boom to busking boots, Katie O'Connor has had a very unpredictable journey into life as a musician. In 2011, she discovered her passion for street music while studying midwifery in the city of Galway and since qualifying she has been travelling in every direction with her guitar, voice and listeners to carry her.
Katie has a unique and raw sound with catchy melodies and a meaningful message which resonates. She shares songs touching on religious turmoil, self-worth, humanity and all kinds of love and loss.
'Fuel for Dreaming' is the most recent album of O'Connors, released in May 2017 and was met with a very positive response from her following.
