Red Light Motel is a South Florida band based in Pompano Beach that was founded by Brazil native and guitarist Yuri Novato dos Santos.
The band’s name was born from a dream the lead singer and guitarist Yuri dos Santos had, where he envisioned a live performance in an old-fashioned roadside motel in the Nevada desert. Months later the dream would make perfect sense when Yuri moved to the US and teamed up with the bassist Raphael Brans and the drummer Raphael Willame, both fellow Brazilians. A year later the group added guitarist and backing vocalist Guilherme Monteiro.
The band has released one EP, "Follow the Red Lights,” which was followed by the LP "The Tropical Funk,” and was released on every streaming platform. The band is currently working on new material, with a release date yet to be announced.
