Controtempo, termine che indica musicalmente un contrasto ritmico dotato dall'alternarsi di pause musicali e note. Scelto come nome del duo per esprimere il voler trasportare chi ascolta fuori dal "ritmo" della quotidianità, e immergerlo, anche solo per un attimo, nella sonorità acustica.
Originariamente musiciste di una band pop/rock, Arianna D'Albenzi (chitarra solista, voce) e Benedetta Munari (chitarra accompagnamento, voce, percussioni) iniziano il progetto acustico "Controtempo" a partire da Maggio 2016, a Rovigo. Da pop/rock a pop/folk acustico, la peculiarità di questo duo sta nella capacità di unire insieme, tramite particolari armonizzazioni, due voci completamente diverse tra loro.
Il gruppo si esibisce tuttora in concerti a Rovigo e dintorni, avendo partecipato anche a concorsi di rilevante importanza come "Voci per la Libertà, una canzone per Amnesty" come ospiti della serata, e al Rock Contest Radio Marilù 2017 presso la Grande Mela di Verona.
Da influenze folk di gruppi inglesi (The Lumineers, Mumford and Sons, Neulore...) a grandi cantautori italiani (Lucio Dalla, Vasco Rossi...), nascono, non solo cover riarrangiate, ma anche inediti sia in inglese che in italiano.
Controtempo, word which means a rhythmical contrast endowed with the alternation of musical breaks and notes.
Chosen as the name of the duo to express the will of carrying the listener away from the daily "rhythm" of life, and to briefly immerse himself in the acoustics.
Originally musicians of a pop/rock band, Arianna D'Albenzi (main guitar, voice) and Benedetta Munari (second guitar, voice, percussions) have started the "Controtempo" acoustic project since May 2016, in Rovigo.
From pop/rock to acoustic pop/folk, the peculiarity of this duo is in the ability to join through harmonization two completely different voices.
The group currently plays in Rovigo and nearby. It has also taken part in important competitions like "Voci per la libertà, una canzone per Amnesty" as special guest, and in the Rock Contest Radio Marilù 2017 at La Grande Mela (Verona).
From English folk influences (The Lumineers, Mumford and Sons, Neulore...) to big Italian songwriters (Lucio Dalla, Vasco Rossi...), not only covers but also songs are born both in English and in Italian.
