Babel Orkesta es una ecléctica agrupación que combina diferentes ritmos y músicas del mundo en una propuesta en la que el público de cualquier edad se convierte, contagiado por el clima festivo y la estética expansiva, en un protagonista más del show. La orquesta busca rescatar el espíritu de las fiestas populares. Con un repertorio que va desde la música gipsy, la polka, el vals y el klezmer, y con una instrumentación particular compuesta por tuba, acordeón, saxo soprano, banjo y percusión, Babel Orkesta hace de cada show una celebración en la que el baile y la diversión son protagonistas.
Babel Orkesta se ha presentado en Ciudad Cultural Konex, La Trastienda. Emir Kustirica los invitó a subir a su escenario en Bs. As. (2012). Se presentaron en la Fundación Tzedaka, AMIA, Tecnópolis , Ciclo Hotel Faena, Festival Internacional de Teatro de Bs As, Bahía Blanca y Cipoletti, Teatro x la Identidad, Bienal Arte Contemporáneo en Chaco, Mercado del Cine, Casa del Bicentenario, Noche de los Museo

Babel Orkesta is an eclectic group that combines different rythms and music from around the world, where everyone in the audience, infected by the festive climate and expansive aesthetics, is also a protagonist of the show. The orchestra seeks to rescue the spirit of popular festivals. With a repertoire that ranges from gipsy music, polka, waltz and klezmer, and with a particular instrumentation composed by tuba, accordion, soprano sax, banjo and percussion, Babel Orkesta makes each show a celebration in which dance and entertainment are the main characters.
Babel Orkesta have already played in the popular venues of Ciudad Cultural Konex and La Trastienda in Buenos Aires. They also played with Emir Kusturica on his show in Buenos Aires in 2012. Other shows include: Fundación Tzedaka, AMIA, Tecnópolis , Ciclo Hotel Faena, Festival Internacional de Teatro de Bs As, Bahía Blanca y Cipoletti, Teatro x la Identidad, Bienal Arte Contemporáneo en Chaco, Mercado del Cine, Casa del Bicentenario, Noche de los Museos.
