Early promises of sunshine were shattered as thunderstorms rolled in deep and heavy just halfway through the field of qualifiers. The lightening closed the lifts and events were postponed until tomorrow.
But fear not, we have action footage from this morning's practice, and Steve catches up with 'Sik Mik' Hannah to describe the course in 3 words, and let us know how his sister, another top world cup racer, Tracey Hannah, is getting on after crashing yesterday and breaking her collarbone.
We also took time to catch up with some of the event's most experienced riders to ask them about their best memories of Crankworx, as this is the 10 year anniversary of this insane event.
