If there were one word to describe the new k.ice.R axe from AustriAlpin, it would be 'adjustability'. Not only can the length of the axe's handle be changed, but so can the pick angle. The adjustment method is so simple, that it could even be changed during an ascent in order to tackle different angles or types of terrain. It is also available with a hammer attachment and is already available to buy.
