Shooting badgers illegally
As the badger cull gets underway in the South-West of England, a group from the East of England sends us a film of badger shooting. They are not protecting cattle from bovine TB. They are shooting badgers in order to save hedgehogs, harvest mice and groundnesting birds, which badgers eat. Badger shooting without a licence may be illegal but they say it's time to put the management of wildlife back into the hands of people in the countryside. We talk to wildlife film maker Chris Chapman and we discuss how to cook badger with Clarissa Dickson-Wright.
