Christian Vera Finds Amazing Story Amidst Thomas Fire Devastation

California has suffered many natural disasters this year, most of which have been wildfire-related. Since the devastating Santa Rosa fire back in October, Southern California now must endure another. Beginning on December 4, the Thomas fire spread through Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, destroying over 230,000 acres.
Our RightThisMinute host, Christian Vera was in Ventura to find many of the homes burnt to the ground were left to ash, a surely heartbreaking sight. While examining one neighborhood's awful devastation, she met two brothers who landscaped the homes for decades. She noticed one man, in particular, who had burn injuries himself from a previous accident. After talking with him, Christian heard his inspiring story and the hope he has to share with the families affected by the Thomas fire.
