John Stamos is going to be a father… at the age of 54!
That’s right folks, the Fuller House star is expecting his first child with his fiancé Caitlin McHugh, so we’re extending our congratulations to the happy couple.
When speaking to the mag, Stamos revealed that he always wanted to be a dad, but clearly he had to do some work on himself first. He said he has a youthful thing, and people tell him he looks so young so he started believing he’d be around until he was 150. But then he woke up and realized, no man, this is it. This is not a dress rehearsal.
Funny thing is, when it came to kids, he thought that ship had sailed… then he found out his girlfriend was pregnant.
That’s when he put a ring of her finger… and she said yes.
Jon thinks he’ll be a fun dad and he’s been practicing for a long time, having done every shtick you can do with a baby on TV.
And we couldn’t agree more.
