Cats and Christmas trees have a bit of a troubled relationship, but, despite the broken ornaments, downed branches, and chewed-up light strings, the feline shenanigans do make for some pretty adorable pictures.

Cats and Christmas trees have a bit of a troubled relationship, but, despite the broken ornaments, downed branches, and chewed-up light strings, the feline shenanigans do make for some pretty adorable pictures.

Thankfully, Twitter has all the highlights and a few tips on how to best handle the situation, notes Mashable.
One person who shared a photo of their kitty peeking out from deep inside the tree wrote, "Every time the cat gets stuck in the christmas tree, I'm gonna take a photo. This time he meowed to be taken out, so I turned on the lights and started snapping pics."
Others indicated that the best thing to do is just roll with it by focusing on the cuteness rather than the destruction.
Comments from that group include, "We told my cat we were decorating my Christmas tree, next thing you know, she is the decoration," and, "No words!! Yes the cat is in the middle of my Christmas tree at the top eye level with me!"
There was also a Twitter user who presented an extreme option, posting a picture of tree stripped of nearly all its branches and writing, "Christmas tree if you have a cat."
