Wintery Conditions Hit Southeast U.S.

Snow that hit the Southeast US on Friday will now marched up the East Coast, where major cities are forecast to get several inches over the weekend. Wintery conditions led to hazardous driving conditions in southern cities such as Atlanta overnight Friday, but temperatures will be warm enough for it to melt Saturday afternoon. Washington DC and New York City now are expecting between 3 inches and 6 inches of snow Saturday into Sunday, while Boston may get 6 to 8 inches.
