Simon Kinberg Works On Making Next X-Men Film ‘Dark Phoenix’ Better than 'Apocalypse'

The upcoming X-Men film "Dark Phoenix" is going back to the classic X-Men story line and focusing more on its characters again. Producer and writer of "X-Men:Apocalypse" Simon Kinberg said the problem with the "Apocalypse" film was that they focused more on "global destruction and visual effects over emotion and character." This time around he wants to really focus on the characters and their emotions and create a theme throughout the film that feels relevant to the audience.
