President Donald Trump has declared a state of emergency. The wildfires in California are raging out of control and have destroyed hundreds of structures and forced many people to leave their home. According to the White House, because of how unmanageable the fires have become, Trump ordered the release of federal assistance to bolster the local response to the wildfires in Southern California. The affected areas are large and wide, blazing from Ventura to San Diego County.
