Video of Palestinian protesters gathering at one of the main entrances to the Old City of Jerusalem, chanting "Allahu Akbar! (God is great)!"

In video filmed today (December 8) at Damascus Gate, Palestinian protesters hold up placards showing an image of US President Donald Trump's face smeared in lipstick. Later, protesters can be seen chanting and clapping.

In the video, Israeli forces arrive on horseback.

The protests are in response to US President Donald Trump's recent declaration to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.
