AVALANCH ~ Corazón negro from “All Star Band” El Ángel Caído XV Aniversario Album by 2017

Formerly known as Speed Demons (1988-1989), they changed their name to Avalancha (1989-early 90s) when their rehearsal room’s roof fell upon them. By the release of their first album, their name was changed again to Avalanch.

Around late 1994 the band was about to split after the departure of Juan Ángel Aláez, Javier De Castro and Charly García, but remaining members Alberto Ardines and Juan Lozano recruited Alberto Rionda and former Warcry members Francisco Fidalgo and Víctor García.

Founder member Alberto Ardines and former singer Victor García were expelled from Avalanch in 2002 and both re-started Victor's band Warcry. After that there’s not a single member of the original lineup.

After almost 10 years of activity, the members decided to stop temporarily in August 2012 after their performance at the spanish festival "Leyendas del Rock". Avalanch played their last gigs as support band for Scorpions at Monterrey City (mex) and Mexico City, both in September 2012.

After the breakup, each member, except Francisco Fidalgo, started new projects, Alberto Rionda along with Marco Alvarez and Chez Garcia and some members of Amadeüs, created Alquimia; Dany Leon and also Marco Alvarez rejoined their old band La destileria and Ramon Lage join the spanish metal band Human.
