Video filmed from inside a moving car of the raging Creek Fire in Los Angeles, filmed before freeways were closed.

In video filmed on Tuesday (December 5), huge clouds of billowing smoke rise in the sky, before the sky turns an eerie orange.

Writes the filmer: "View of the raging Creek Fire around the intersection of the 210 and 118 freeways, before the freeways were closed.

"The shot starts a little way back, and then we drive straight into the fire area. Huge clouds of billowing smoke, ash and debris coming down on cars, and it looked almost like night time as the sun was obscured by smoke.

The Los Angeles Fire Department said on Tuesday that more than 400 firefighters had been assigned to deal with the Creek Fire to assist with structure protection and firefighting operations.
