Malaysians' saving habit almost reaching developed nation status

A new study shows that the Malaysian saving rate is now at 38 percent, only slightly below that of developed countries at 40 percent.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is confident that when the economy gets stronger and better awareness is in place, it will boost the voluntary savings of Malaysians, and we will on par with developed nations.
