Penang to make Guar Kepah site UNESCO heritage

The Penang state government will apply to make the Guar Kepah archaeological site in Kepala Batas as a UNESCO world heritage.

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said this is an effort to preserve and conserve the excavation site of what is believed to be human remains from the neolithic era, now dubbed as the "Penang Woman".
