Sources Say That Disney-Fox Deal Could Be Announced Next Week

According to sources familiar with the matter on Tuesday, Walt Disney appears in the lead to acquire much of Twenty-First Century Fox's media empire, however competitor Comcast remains in the running. As reported by Reuters, one of the sources claims that the Murdoch family, which controls Fox, would prefer a deal with Disney as it would rather be paid in Disney stock and as a potential deal with Disney would be more likely to clear US antitrust regulators.
