Rubber gloves shares rise on EBOLA fears

Shares of rubber glove companies rose in early morning trade as fears compounded that the ebola infection outbreak in Africa could turn into a pandemic. At about 10.30 a.m today, top glove was up by 7 sen or 1 point 5 per cent to 4 ringgit 70 sen, kossan rubber industries rose by 9 sen to 4 ringgit 10 sen or 2 point 24 per cent while supermax rose by 9 sen or 4 point 45 per cent to 2 ringgit 26 sen.
