Foreign funds sell RM4.57b Malaysian equity YTD

MIDF Research said foreign investors had sold 4.57 billion ringgit of Malaysian equity year-to-date (YTD) as at last Friday, compared with 6.93 billion ringgit during the whole of 2014.
MIDF Research head, Zulkifli Hamzah said foreigners sold 1.16 billion ringgit of Malaysian equity last week, as the foreign sell down intensified significantly in line with the regional trend.
