BFood to wholly own Starbucks franchise in Malaysia

Berjaya Food has entered into a conditional Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Starbucks Coffee International Inc (SCI) to acquire the remaining 50 per cent equity interest it does not own in Berjaya Starbucks Coffee Co Sdn Bhd for 279 million ringgit cash. The completion of the proposed acquisition will see Berjaya Starbucks become a 100 per cent owned entity of Berjaya Food.
