Public Bank net profit exceeds RM2 billion for 6 months

Public Bank, the country’s third largest lender has posted a 3.2 % increase in net profit for its Second Quarter from a year earlier on the back of higher net interest and fee based income. Its net profit for the 6 months period ended June 30th rose by 4.1 % to RM2.07 billion from RM1.99 billion previously.
