MAA ups 2014 TIV forecast by 10,000

The Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) has raised its forecast for the year's Total Industry Volume (TIV) from 670 thousand units to 680 thousand units, on the back of a 6.3 per cent increase in TIV in the first half of the year.
MAA president Datuk Aishah Ahmad Said the TIV growth is expected to reach 333 thousand units for the first half of 2014, compared with 313 thousand units in the corresponding period last year.
