US$2.5 trillion needed to upgrade South Asia's infra

South Asia needs to invest up to $2.5 trillion to bridge its infrastructure gap over the next 10 years to bring its power grids, roads and water supply up to the standard needed to serve its growing population. According to a report by The World Bank, this can be done by tapping into private and public sector funds as well as by introducing reforms.
