Under 4% of companies registered for GST

Director-General Of The Royal Customs Department, Datuk Seri Khazali Ahmad said, only around 10 thousand companies out of the 300 thousand that are targeted to comply with the Goods and Services Tax , GST, have registered with the department.
The figure is around 4 per cent when according to the department , the registration of GST compliant companies should have reached 60 thousand by now as 123 thousand companies are expected to be registered by September.
