President Trump and his team have tried to contain damages from a tweet posted over the weekend which appears to reveal that he was aware that Michael Flynn, his former national security adviser, had lied to FBI agents at the time he left the administration. The tweet conflicts with past narratives. It would also be the first time Trump has said he knew that Flynn had lied to the FBI in January 2017.
