Sri Lankan skipper Chandimal along with Angelo Mathews dominated the Lankan batting on day 3 of the 3rd test match. But as the day was about to come to an end , the islanders started losing wickets in quick succession, and as the day came to an end the Lankan side were reduced to 356/9, with just Chandimal and Sandakan batting for the side. For India there were some near misses as the side dropped some really easy catches during the first session but managed to get their act together as the day came to an end and reduced the visitors to the last batsman.
