Yogi Adityanath said, “The credit to UP municipal poll victory goes to PM’s vision.”BJP will work together to get a landslide victory in 2019 Lok Sabha elections, said Yogi Adityanath. BJP is leading in 14 out of 16 mayoral seats in Uttar Pradesh where counting of votes polled in the crucial municipal elections began early Friday morning. Significantly, initial trends also show Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) ahead in two seats, according to PTI. BJP is leading in seats, including Lucknow, Allahabad, Aligarh,Varanasi, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Faizabad and Moradabad municipal corporations, while the BSP was ahead in Jhansi and Agra municipal corporations.,The elections was conducted in three phases on November 22, 26 and 29 and the voter turnout was around 52.4 per cent. Over 3.36 crore voters exercised their rights at 36,269 polling booths in the state to decide the fate of 79,113 candidates.

यूपी निकाय चुनाव में मिले प्रचंड समर्थन पर यूपी के सीएम योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा कि ये चुनाव परिणाम उन लोगों के लिए आंखें खोलने वाला है जो गुजरात चुनाव को लेकर नकारात्मक टिप्पणी कर रहे थे। इस जीत से हमारी जिम्मेदारी और बढ़ गई है। उन्होंने जीत के लिए जनता को धन्यवाद दिया और कार्यकर्ताओं को जीत का श्रेय दिया।,योगी भाजपा कार्यालय में मीडिया को सम्बोधित कर रहे थे। मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में शपथ लेने के बाद निकाय चुनाव को योगी की बड़ी परीक्षा माना जा रहा था। योगी ने कहा कि इन चुनाव में जीत के बाद भाजपा 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव में भी जीत हासिल करने के लिए तेजी से अग्रसर हो रही है।
