Music producer Russell Simmons steps down after sex assault claim

Jenny Lumet who is the screenwriter of ‘Rachel Getting Married’ and ‘The Mummy’ describes in the column Simmons forcing himself on her in his New York apartment. Russell Simmons is the co-founder of hip-hop label def jam records, he is also a film and music producer and the creator of the fashion lines Phat Farm and Tantris. Simmons announced on Thursday that he would be stepping down from his fashion and production businesses.
