Lauer Apologizes

Disgraced journalist Matt Lauer has broken his silence one day after being fired from NBC amid sexual harassment allegations. On Thursday, November 30th, Lauer’s former colleague Savannah Guthrie read an apology statement from Lauer during the Today show. In part, his statement read “There are no words to express my sorrow and regret for the pain I have caused others by words and actions." Some claims included that he gave a sex toy to one woman and exposed his penis in front of another.
