So it sounds like Jay-Z finally admitted to cheating on Beyoncé.
Yep, the rapper and music mogul told the New York Times in an interview that his state of mind was what led up to the infamous transgression… and when that happened, he went into survival mode.
Jay said that most people walk away from marriage – which is why the divorce rate is 50 percent – and the hardest thing is seeing the pain on someone’s face that you caused.
So he understands that most people walk away… but he never did, even though it wasn’t always easy.
Jay has been dogged with cheating rumors since 2013, which only got worse when he got into that notorious elevator squabble at the Met Gala with Beyoncé’s sister in 2014.
And then Bey hinted at the marital strife on her 2016 album, Lemonade.
Then Jay finally alluded to being unfaithful on the title track of his latest album, released in June of this year.
A source told People magazine that it’s no secret the couple was having problems, but they both worked very hard to get to the place where they are now.
