Matt Lauer, the anchor of "Today" for two decades, was terminated by NBC News after a detailed complaint about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace. On Wednesday morning, TODAY co-anchors Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb announced Lauer's firing. Guthrie said the Today show team are "heartbroken." Andrew Lack, the Chairman of NBC News, released a memo to employees detailing the firing. In the memo Luck revealed that the complaint against Lauer was made by a colleague of Lauer's.
