Rahul gandhis mother sonia gandhi is christian. His grandfather , Feroz Khan was muslim. Indira gandhi was married to Feroz khan who was muslim. They are neither real gandhi nor gujrati. feroz khan became feroz gandhi as mahatma gandhi adopted him after they registered their marriage in London and came back o india. on their return J.l. nehru requested Gandhi to adopt Feroz so that he could use the Gandhi surname. it was a poly to fool the people of India in order to save the political career of indira gandhi who had become Indira Khan after marriage.
