Justin Trudeau in address at the House of Commons On Tuesday, Canadian President Justin Trudeau apologized to LGBT citizens for the mistreatment they endured in the country's past. From the 1950s to the early 90s, homosexual Canadians were expelled from their government jobs. Government workers expected of being gay were put through humiliating tests to expose their sexuality.
