Cyclist luckily escapes being run over by bus after running yellow light

Footage has emerged from China of a cyclist narrowly escaping being run over by a bus after he ran a yellow light.

The CCTV video, filmed in Guilin City in southern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on November 13, shows the man flying off his bike after breaking to avoid the bus.

Luckily, as he landed on the road the bus stopped centimetres from his head.

He reportedly only suffered minor scratches.
