Mere hours after the announcement of their engagement Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave their first official joint interview with the BBC.
The couple revealed that Harry's proposal took place on a low-key Sunday night earlier this month while they were "trying to roast a chicken" for dinner at Nottingham Cottage, the duo's residence on the Kensington Palace grounds.
Harry offered a little more information about the hardware he designed for Markle. "It's yellow gold, because that's her favorite. The main stone itself is sourced from Botswana, and the little diamonds on either side are from my mother's jewelry collection, to make sure that she's with us on this crazy journey together,"
