Consumer Protection Agency Now Has Two Bosses

President Donald Trump’s pick to head the U.S. government consumer watchdog agency turned up for work on Monday. He even brought doughnuts. His appearance challenges the acting appointee of the Obama-era leader. It was a partisan showdown over how the U.S. financial system should be regulated.
Mick Mulvaney is the White House budget chief. Last week, he was named acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau by Trump.
